Take Us Out to the Ball Game?

I have proposed a Giants baseball outing on the Friday before Westercon. I need to know people's interest levels before proceeding with planning. Nine people (counting me) at basfa last night expressed interest in the idea.

Sleepless in Fremont

I have to get up in about 4 1/2 hours, and I can't fall asleep. And the seating charts for my flights (OAK-DFW, DFW-ORD) suggest they will both be packed-to-the-rafters. This is Not Good. At least I do have aisle seats.

Coming back on Friday is even worse; my DFW-OAK flight has one empty seat showing. OTOH, maybe I can get bumped and get a free ticket. It's early enough in the day that I'm less likely to get stuck there overnight.
