I Wish I Hadn't Heard About This

Although I've been invited to multiple things this coming weekend, I intended on spending it doing little but resting, and the same next weekend as well. After all, starting two weeks from today, I'm heading to Oregon, and I will be away for five weeks thereafter. So I sort of wish I hadn't seen the notice for California Extreme, an arcade game and pinball show in downtown San Jose. For $30-$35/day (or $60 for both days), I could have unlimited play on dozens of pinball machines. Be still my heart. But no, I can't afford to spend any more money, and I need to conserve my resources (including my feet) for the Japan trip. And assuming they have the show the same weekend next year, I expect to not be able to attend, either, as I'll be recovering from Denvention 3, especially if I take the train as I've been contemplating.
