Close Call

Driving home from BASFA tonight, I had the misfortune to have things fly into both my eyes simultaneously. Thank goodness the freeway was sufficiently quiet and I could barely see enough so I could get over to the shoulder, stop, put on the emergency blinkers, and clear both my eyes. Had that happened during heavy traffic on in a place where there was no safe place to stop, I would have been in big trouble. Fortunately, as it was, I only had a brief inconvenience before resuming the drive home.
