Cheryl Heading Back to UK
Jan. 9th, 2008 08:18 pmI took Cheryl to SFO this afternoon, where she caught a flight back to the UK. She'll be there for a couple of months.
United had a couple of international flights going out about the same time, and the check-in queues were huge. Fortunately, Cheryl is a Premier frequent flyer and was able to use the business-class check-in, which was much better than standing in line for an hour. The extra time gave us time to look at the current exhibit in the airport near the United security entrance, which was From Hare to Eternity: The Enduring Art of Warner Brothers Animation. This was a nice exhibit, and I'm glad we had time to have a look at it before Cheryl had to be processed by the Tourism Suppression Administration.
I then headed back to my office in San Mateo. About the time I got back to the office, Cheryl called to let me know that she was on board the plane and that everything was routine. I wished her an uneventful and restful flight.
