Wasting Days
Feb. 12th, 2008 12:11 pmAlas, the weather is nice, but Lisa is still off her feet. She's not quite as hobbled as she was the night she twisted her ankle, but she's still not very mobile, which makes her plans to use the good weather to get some work done here not viable.
On the brighter side, she looked under that pile of rubble that is the collapsed awning and says that she thinks many of the supports aren't actually broken. The end supports clearly broke, but the center once simply bowed sideways. This means we won't have to rebuild the entire structure, just the end ones. We'll have to get a new tarp; however, my mother (Hi, mom!) pointed us as a company that makes high-quality tarps to custom sizes. We'll look into this.
