Lisa called while I was walking back from Central Chevrolet to inform me that she had made it home and would call me later with details. She is, as you can probably expect, very tired.

Van Work Redux

Some of you may recall that I had my van in the shop having the heater/air conditioning fan fixed. It would work only on high; the medium two speeds wouldn't work. Well, only a day or so after I got it back, on my way to Oregon, the switch stopped working again. That wasn't so bad on that trip -- it was during that heat wave, and high was the only speed I wanted on the fan -- but I did want it fixed. Today was the first chance I had to take it to the dealership where I could leave it with them for a few days. They say they'll have a look and if it's the same problem, the repair will be free. I'll be back to collect it a week from Monday as I'm flying north tomorrow.
