Who'd've Thunk That?

Indirectly by following a link from solarbird I found this video for Taito's Game Station arcades in Japan featuring the classic Space Invaders. I don't know enough Japanese to follow most of the non-English words in the video, although I do know that the girl is saying "tomodachi" = "friend" as she reaches out to hug the Space Invaders. Cute.

San Francisco Science Fiction Conventions, Inc. (SFSFC) has awarded a scholarship of $500 to Heather Stern to attend the SMOFCon convention-runners convention in Columbus OH this year over the weekend of December 5-7, 2008.
