The only football playoff action I saw this weekend was the end of the Eagles-Cardinals game. I had no idea that the two-point conversion that the Cardinals made near the end would have such a personal impact on me. This morning, I got an e-mail informing me that I'd won $200 in the playoff pool at work, based on the final score.
That's a welcome bonus, because one of the things that was waiting for me when I got to Oregon last Thursday was a bill from the radiology people who did Lisa's MRI. The insurance finally paid; my share after insurance was over $400. And my 2008 Flexible Spending Account money is tapped out, so that's money out of pocket for me.
