Back to the Routine

I finally got in to the office today, only to discover that my laptop wouldn't boot. Again. I could have fixed it, but I left the recovery disk and home. Also, that machine is so old that the PC guys aren't sure they actually know what the administrator password is. So now I'm re-cloning and hoping I don't lose too much data again. The PC people call it "bit rot" and may want to re-image my drive. They actually say I should get a new computer, but I have the laptop I have now on sufferance and as a hand-me down.

Anyway, I'm using my personal laptop right now while I wait for the clone to finish completing so I can go to bed.
