The rainy Santiam Valley, with 100% cloud cover, is not a very good place to watch an eclipse.

Better Late Than Never

We still send out some Christmas cards; however, this year's batch of railroad-themed cards didn't arrive until after Lisa got back from the SMOFCon trip, and we were therefore unable to sign and mail them until yesterday. Thus I expect that they won't arrive until after the holiday except for those people on the US west coast.
