Science Fiction Awards Watch has released the podcast about the Hugo Awards process that Cheryl and I did this past weekend with Brit Mandelo, John DeNardo, and Jonathan Strahan.
I want to make it clear that the opinions expressed in this discussion are mine and do not necessarily represent official positions of the World Science Fiction Society, the Mark Protection Committee, the Hugo Awards Marketing Committee, or any seated Worldcon. Although I'm an MPC and HAMC member, I am not currently in a leadership position of either of these committees and do not presume to speak for them.
This is a relatively long discussion (a bit over 90 minutes), and those of you who read my LJ or have discussed these subjects with me are not likely to be surprised by the content. However, if we can get the word out to more people and further pierce the mysteries and myths of the Hugo Awards, the better we'll be for it.
