Hindsight

In retrospect, it looks to me that this current week would have been a very good chance to work from home in Fernley all week long, particularly if I'd taken the train to Reno the weekend before (presumably Saturday morning). Had I been paying attention to the UP150 celebration schedule, I not only would have been able to see UP 844 tearing through Fernley at speed, but Lisa could have driven us down to Sacramento on the following weekend for the celebrations going on there at the California State Railroad Museum, then put me on a train back to San Jose on Sunday and driven home. As it is, we're still considering her driving down and me taking the train up so we can attend the events in Sacramento.
