Sep. 20th, 2013 08:43 pmToo busy at Day Jobbe today to think about too much WSFS business or history. One of the things I'm considering doing, based on a suggestion from The List That Shall Not Be Named, is to take footage from this year's Business Meeting and use it to demonstrate how WSFS uses Objection to Consideration. If I do it, I might show what actually happened with the YA Hugo at actual speed, then go back through it one bit at a time, explaining what happened and why. I doubt it will make the people complaining that It's Not Fair and that You Deliberately Went Too Fast Because You're Oppressing Us, but it might possibly teach someone something about how important it is to pay attention and to speak up if you don't understand what's happening.
Tomorrow, in my quest for IHG bonus points, I have to check out of the Vagabond Inn for one day, spend tomorrow night in the Holiday Inn a couple of blocks away, then move back to the less-expensive Vagabond for next week.
I'm astonished to see that the utterly wretched EZ-8, which is across the fence from the fairly decent Vagabond, has put its room rates up to $75/night. It was overpriced at $49/night.
