Snow Day

It's snowing at home in Fernley. There's a Winter Storm Warning in effect and there could be several inches of snow, which is relatively rare because most storms run out of moisture before they get to us. Lisa laid in supplies, made sure the propane bottles were full for the trailer, and stoked up the fireplace, although it got so cold that she actually had some difficulty getting a fire started when it went out overnight on account of the fireplace kept sucking all of the heat out of the fire as it was kindling. She's all set to stay home and warm.

I am not in Fernley. I'm in the Bay Area, getting ready to head to Toronto on Thursday to attend SMOFCon. I rather expect the snow will have melted at home before I get home, but I could be wrong about that.
