Starting Year 4

Just over three years ago (the day after the 2011 Worldcon, Renovation), Lisa and I took initial possession of Fernley House. I say "initial" because due to the way someone scooped it from us, then resold it to me when I begged him to do so (and charged me a $20K premium), we had to rent the house for about 2 1/2 months before we could actually buy it. However, we got the keys and started the moving-in process just over three years ago.

There continue to be many things needing repairing, and the repairs are going much more slowly than we ever thought they would, even though we now have the resources to do them, but hardly a day goes by without Lisa telling me how happy she is to have this house.
