Pleasant Pheasant
Oct. 23rd, 2017 03:02 pmMy and Lisa's hours are (as usual) rather out of synch, so that at the moment my lunch is her dinnertime. A few days ago when we were at the local grocery store, we noticed that they had pheasant. On a whim, Lisa got one, and for our lunch/dinner today, she cooked it. It's been a while since I had pheasant. (Again, my family hunted pheasant as I was growing up, but it's been a rare treat since then.) It turned out very nice, and I thanked Lisa for making it. She even did the washing up, which is unusual because normally I do the dishes (it seems fair to me since she cooked the meal, which I consider the hard part). We'll do that again, but not that often because it's rather expensive.
