Another Day, Another Trip to Reno

Because of how ugly looking the coolant in the engine was when we had the worry about leakage, I decided it would be a good idea to get a coolant flush and service on the Astro. As soon as I could get clear from work, Lisa and I went to Jiffy Lube in Sparks. They were backed up a bit, but that was okay, because we left it with them and then walked down the block and had dinner at Sizzler. I was a bit surprised that dinner for two at Sizzler cost more than for two people at the Peppermill (after local's discount).

The minivan now has fresh coolant, in time for our planned trip over the mountains tomorrow to go visit my sister in Sacramento and do some shopping for things not available in Reno.
