Winter Returns

Somewhat unexpectedly, we got a light dusting of snow overnight. It all melted shortly after sunrise, but there were periods when a few flakes drifted out of the sky, including when I went down to Hanneman Service to get one of our propane bottles refilled after lunch.

With the snow comes cold, and thus instead of just barely nursing the fireplace along so it doesn't go out, I've had to keep it stoked up a bit. We're down to half a pallet of fire logs, so sometime this week we'll need to go get another pallet from Big R, assuming the utility trailer (whose tires are tired) can handle it.
