No Easy Road

I got word yesterday that seven people have filed for the two open seats on the North Lyon County Fire Protection District board of directors. Given how little help Nevada gives candidates (no statements in the voter pamphlet, for example), I'm unsure how I'll get the message out about who I am given that I don't want to spend money (or have to engage in fundraising). But I'll think more about this when I get back from the two weeks I will be on the road from tomorrow.

The cold is retreating, but I fear that it's retreating into my chest, as that is common behavior of my colds.
