Cold & Hot

Yesterday it got so cold that I had to re-kindle the fireplace, after having cleaned out all of the ash a couple of days earlier. Today, it was 5-10°C warmer. We unplugged the electric heater, and Lisa had to run the air conditioning in the travel trailer for a while. It's definitely spring-like now. We also took our first "long loop" walk of the year (a longer path through Fernley than our "winter" walking path that sticks mostly to a loop of Fernley's small downtown). According to the forecast, we have at least a week of steadily warmer weather ahead.

The drugs appear to be chipping away at the sinus infection, although of course I have to keep taking them for their entire course lest the nasty bugs rebound on me. We'll see how I feel a week from now.
