Appointments Near and Far

My medical exams were last Thursday in Palo Alto. Today I had my optometrist appointment, which was quite a bit easier to get to, as the office is about three blocks from my house — I walk past it daily when going to the post office to collect my mail.

As I expected, my distance vision is unchanged while my close-in vision needs a stronger prescription. I'm also going to splurge on a pair of computer vision/reading bifocals to make it easier to spend 10 hours/day at the computer.
