Tooth Trip

That crown Lisa had done last week has been making her tinnitus worse, as it has altered her bite. The dentist gave us one chance this week: 8 AM today. I made arrangements with my co-workers and headed off at 7 AM to Reno. This trip was as I expected: one hour driving each way, about 45 minutes of waiting, and 15 minutes actually in the chair. The dentist carefully took a tiny bit off the crown to try and loosen the bite. Lisa pronounced it better, and the dentist told us to let them know if it doesn't work and they have to try some more.

Lisa's bite was good enough that when I stopped by a Starbucks on the way home so I could get some coffee, she felt up to getting a breakfast sandwich. Now we have to hope that her ear gives her enough peace that she can get some sleep, as she was up something like 18 hours by the time we gone home, on account of her ear screaming at her every time she tried to lie down.
