Rest and Recover
Dec. 16th, 2019 03:18 pmLisa seems to be recovering from the trip faster than I am. I'm trying to not be too ambitious. I'm back to working full days after two weeks of half-day PTO, but as this also means not having to pack and move every day, it's definitely a net win. Also, my computers seem to be happier being left on all the time, although one of them insisted that it was Time For Updates (Again).
Normally we walk to the post office, but we had errands to run including picking up almost three weeks accumulated mail, including packages, so we drove. Today is not a great day to be at the post office due to everyone mailing stuff, but we managed. We ran an errand to Big R, refueled the Astro so we can get a final total of how much we spent on fuel in order to compare it to the IRS charitable-donation driving rate of 14 cents/mile, and got groceries. I didn't want to do any of these things, but they needed to be done. Next it to have an early dinner and get more sleep.
