Very Short Road Trip
Jul. 6th, 2020 07:34 pmThis morning, about mid-way through my work day, Lisa came inside to announce that she'd taken the travel trailer on a road trip.

Lisa is planing to mount a ham radio antenna to the carport roof. The easiest way to work on the carport roof is to stand on the roof of the travel trailer, so she needed to move the trailer. To do that, she needed to get the Big Orange Van running again, first because it's the most appropriate vehicle by pulling power and second because it was sitting where the tow vehicle was going to need to be anyway. While there are still things to be done for the BOV (starting with buying a new fuel transfer valve so it can access both of its fuel tanks), I'm glad it's running again.
It's getting hot again, not surprisingly, and I told Lisa that she needs to be careful about working in the hot sun and to get inside near the air conditioning more often. It's very easy to be overcome by the heat if you're not careful.
