The Haze Returns
Sep. 3rd, 2020 08:09 amAfter a week of relatively clear air and cooler weather, the winds have shifted and the smoke from a reported more than 900 wildfires in California (and a few in western Nevada) is starting to drift back this direction.

I wish I could have swapped the temperatures earlier this week with those expected in the next few days, because I'd hoped to get a significant outdoor home-improvement project done or at least significantly tackled over the long weekend coming up, and this will complicate things. But I swear that I'm not complaining, for I'm aware of just how lucky we are here compared to so many other people who have lost their homes, jobs, and lives lately due to fires, floods, hurricanes, a pandemic, and sundry other disasters.
