Afternoon Off

In recognition of the substantial extra hours I put in on the Day Jobbe this week, my manager said I could clock out for the week as soon as I got a certain task done. In this case that meant 11 AM, although that was still about seven hours after I'd started work. But at least I did get away in fewer than 9-10 hours today.

The smoke has cleared sufficiently that I felt safe walking to the post office after lunch today. I need to start walking again, as I've put on weight due to the month-plus spent hardly even going outside due to the smoke, aside from some ventures driving places like grocery shopping.
