Lisa hooked up the utility trailer last night, so this morning, we drove down to Big R to collect the pallet of Press-to-Logs I purchased a few days ago. I got a discount because the pallet was damaged and some of the logs broken. It's a good thing that it's only about 1300 m between Big R and our house, because the slightly shifted pallet was significantly askew by the time we got it home.

What, You've Never Seen a Diagonal Pallet Before )

We'll unload the pallet later at our convenience. There is no rain in the forecast for the next few days, so we don't need to rush. Had rain been on the way, we would have to hurry because the shrink wrap on the pallet is broken and that means water will get in, and these logs are just pressed sawdust and dissolve in the wet. It's much easier to do this unloading when you can just take a little bit at a time. It does amount to literally a ton of firewood, after all.
