kevin_standlee: (Snow Day)
There was a tiny bit of icy snow falling this morning when I went out to bring in more firewood and feed the birds. (The bird swarmed the feeder as soon as I went inside.) What little was there melted by mid-morning as the temperature made it above freezing. It felt like it should show much of today, and as the sun set, light icy rain turned into snow. I wouldn't expect a lot. Nonetheless, I'm glad that I refilled the small woodbox by the front door on Friday when it was sunny. The front door box has several days' worth of firewood in it, and I'm glad to have it.

In a few days, we'll need to hitch up the trailer again and go get another pallet from Big R. They have one on reserve for us, which was kind of them.
