Blown Away

This afternoon, Big O Tires called to tell me that the Astro repairs were done and I could collect the minivan today if I wanted. There are sometimes advantages of being so close to a major distribution hub for auto parts; you can get parts the same day or at worst the next day.

While we could have done a shuttle run to Sparks today, we had some pretty high winds here. Driving the Rolling Stone is a challenge at the best of times, but it's worse with high winds. We'll see how things are tomorrow.

There is some irony in me not needing the van urgently and getting the repairs in one day.
