Hello Summer

If we define spring as the period between needing a fire in the fireplace and needing to start the air conditioning, then spring lasted about four weeks. Today, the outside temperature topped out at about 40°C (104° in old money), and the thermometer in the living room was in the high 20s C, so it was time to break out the swamp cooler. That also meant clearing out the space where the thing sits in the living room and also cleaning the dust off of it.

I wouldn't say that it's cool, but it at least feels less hot with the swamp cooler running. The relative humidity is only 11%, so the evaporation works really well right now.
