Everything is Relative

My sympathies go out to those experiencing the temperatures we were getting last week here in Fernley but having to do so with high humidity, compared to the 10-15% we have here. The weather has cooled a little bit here, so I've only been running the swamp cooler in the later afternoon. This evening I could sit outside on the porch for a while, reading and otherwise not doing a lot of thinking while watching for birds and rabbits. The flip side of the low humidity and the winds that cooled things down, however, is that we have a Red Flag Fire Warning across the region. If the weather is like this again tomorrow, instead of lazing around on the porch, I should probably get out and do more brush cutting.
