Warming Trend

Merely a week ago, it was quite cold and we were fretting about running out of wood. Today, it was so warm that I all but let the fire go out, and tonight I'm trying to set a fire that will burn relatively slowly. I'd rather not let the fire go completely out because it's a hassle to rekindle it, but there's also no point in getting things too warm, either. There's a good chance of rain tomorrow (which is good, but not enough), and colder weather for a few days, but there are hints that spring is almost here.
