Inside Slider
Mar. 10th, 2022 03:03 pmWhen I checked last night's weather forecast, I saw that it was for a pretty cold day, a Special Weather Statement of an "inside slider" (a cold front moving north to south, as opposed to our normal west-to-east weather movement), and a 1% chance of precipitation.
( 1% Doesn't Mean Zero )
By the time I saw this, the sun was well up, but the air temperature was still below freezing, so any of the bits of snow that were in the shade were still hanging in there.
I threw a couple of more logs on the fire, knowing that the rest of this week is likely to warm up enough that I might even be able to allow the fire to go out for a while, albeit probably not overnight just yet.
