Talking about Robert's Rules in a Civil Society

Tomorrow morning (Sunday, May 8, 9 AM PDT), I will be part of a public discussion entitled Tom Whitmore and Robert's Rules of Order. I'll be talking about the importance of formal meeting procedure (not necessarily Robert's Rules) in "deliberative assemblies," including the WSFS Business Meeting. I think you may find that it's a more interesting subject than you may think. It's easy to dismiss it, but in a civil society, we have to have rules to reach decisions that balance the rights of individuals, minorities, majorities, and the entire group.
