Jun. 7th, 2022 05:34 pmI'm impressed with how fast Staples turns around the office supply orders I've been making for Westercon. I ordered more print cartridges on Monday and they arrived this afternoon. That has allowed me to start printing the rest of the inside covers. It's very slow. I timed each page as 75 seconds. that means that printing one side of each cover takes roughly 7 hours.
The outside covers are not quite as ink-intensive, so they may go a little faster, and I don't expect them to gobble up so much ink.
Also in Westercon news we put in our order for those groceries for Westercon Hospitality that we'll be buying in Tonopah, as opposed to supplies we're bringing down from the Reno area in the trailer we're renting. All perishables and most of the sodas will come from there, for example.
