Remembering that today was June 14 (Flag Day), I put our US flag up this morning.
( Flying the Flag )
This afternoon after I got free from Day Jobbe, Lisa and I drove to Reno where we made some significant purchases for Westercon hospitality from a wholesale grocery store. While there are some things (mostly perishables and relatively heavy stuff like cans of sodas and bottles of water) that we have ordered from Raley's grocery store in Tonopah for pickup the day before the convention, other non-perishable stuff is best purchased here. We've reserved a rental trailer to transport stuff from Fernley to Tonopah including this.
By the way, if you're in the Bay Area, are coming to Tonopah, plan to arrive no later than the late afternoon of June 30, and have room to carry extra stuff for the convention, we happen to have a lot of things in the Bay Area that it would be useful to have in Tonopah but for which renting another large vehicle to move it all would be impractical. Contact me and we'll see if there's a way to make the logistics work out.
