My primary credit card is an Amtrak Guest Rewards MasterCard, which earns me lots of Amtrak points and is one of the reasons we've been able to take some of the train trips we've done. It has been carried by Bank of America, which was convenient because that is also where my primary bank account is. However, the card is about to be changed to a new bank, which has sent me a new card with a new number. The new card takes effect at Noon in a few days, and I'm supposed to use the old card until then. The annoying thing is that I can't change some of my ongoing bill payments that use that card until after that because those billers try to put a test charge through, which will reject until the new card comes on line. I'll get it done eventually, but I expect that there is likely to be at least one vendor that bounces because I forgot about them.
