Canadian Breakfast
Dec. 11th, 2022 06:25 pmYesterday morning, I picked up breakfast from the Wigwam, telling them that I'd spent much of the past week eating at my favorite place for breakfast that isn't the Wigwam, but that they didn't have anything to worry about because I can only eat there when I'm in Montreal, which isn't that often, albeit that it was twice in the past fifteen months.
Taking breakfast home, I made part of it Canadian.
( Muffins Canadian Style )
Today, snow finally reached Fernley during the current string of storms.
( Not a Lot of Snow )
All of the snow melted by late afternoon, and I didn't even have to sweep the walks.
The next week is forecast to be very cold, with highs below freezing, but the current chance of snow here is low. However, we have to start considering getting more firewood soon. I'll have to check with Big R to see if they have any more pallets of Sis-Q-Logs. That would be the easiest solution. When the temperatures go below freezing, the heat gets sucked right out of the house. For now, I've managed to get the living room thermometer all the way up to 25°C, although it doesn't really feel that warm.
