Tackling the Dishwasher

Yesterday, we were more or less trapped in our property due to needing to shoo trespassers away and use our vehicles to block off people trying to drive across our lot. While the official schedule of the event seemed to say it would end around 8:30 PM, the music kept banging on until well after 10 PM. But anyway, we decided to take on trying to diagnose what was wrong with the dishwasher, which had stopped working a month ago.

While we can order this part online from a variety of sources and a wide variety of prices, we think the part probably is available at places in Reno/Sparks, so when we get a chance, we will go shopping for the plumbing part there so we can look at it and compare it to what we have first.

This is merely annoying. We can wash dishes by hand. But spending (projected) less than $100 on a couple of parts is a lot better than buying a new dishwasher.
