This afternoon, Lisa and I went to Reno for what is likely to be the last "ordinary" shopping run before the Winnipeg trip. That is, the next shopping trip will to buy stuff to take on the road with us, likely including "camp food" and the like that can be made up with hot water.
We had to go to Staples to return an SD card we bought there last week. I did not work, not on my computer or Lisa's or on her camera. They had a little bit of trouble figuring out how to do the return, but eventually they credited my card. Since I was there anyway, I bought a box of manila folders. After many years, I have finally run out of folders, and I need something in which to file the signs that I'm printing for Pemmi-Con.
Then it was a stop at the fabric store to get Kuma Bear a new "blanket" that he wears when riding in Lisa's backpack. He's worn a hole in the old one.
A stop at the camera store was fruitless. I won't go into details unless Lisa wants me to do so.
We did a smaller-than-normal WinCo Foods stop because we're drawing down supplies in preparation for the trip.
I'll have to do a trip to Reno sometime in the next few days to get an oil change for the Astro, as I've "used up" the one I had in early May. Given how far we are driving, it seems wise to start fresh.
