Light It Up

As I may have mentioned, the main ceiling light stopped working a few weeks ago. It probably was the ballast in the fixture, but it was actually easier to just buy another one of the fixtures from Lowe's. They had the same type as the one Lisa installed some years ago, so on Monday and we bought another one. Lisa was very pleased at how easy it was to remove the old fixture and replace it with the new one. I was very pleased that we once again had a good bright florescent long-tube light for the living room. While we have other lights here, they are mostly the "studio" lights we use for recording Railway Legends, Myths, and Stories, and while they light the room, the bulbs for them are quite expensive and difficult to get, and thus I'm happier with a more ordinary fixture for our day to day living. Besides that, the florescent fixture uses a whole lot less power than the studio lights.
