Chasing the Santa Train
Dec. 17th, 2023 06:16 pmThis afternoon, Lisa and I drove over to Carson City and the Nevada State Railroad Museum. Today was the final day this season that the NSRM would be operating their "Santa Train" in steam. It was too crowded for us to feel comfortable riding, but we took pictures and video, some of which might turn up in Railway Legends, Myths, and Stories.

After getting our fill of steam for this trip, we got a practical errand done, as there is a Raley's supermarket not far from the museum. From there, we headed home. We still have at least one more trip to Reno for large-scale shopping before Christmas, although we're not looking forward to it, as neither of us liked crowds even before the pandemic.
