Threading the Weather Needle
Feb. 3rd, 2024 09:17 amIt's snowing heavily enough in the Sierra Nevada that chain controls have been up for a while all the way to the edge of Reno, but the forecast says it would be dry in Reno proper as well as Fernley overnight. Therefore, Lisa and I went to the WinCo foods in South Reno this morning, leaving Fernley just after 3 AM and getting home shortly after 6 AM. It's the first time in several weeks that we've done a shopping run to Reno, so we got a lot of stuff, and the pantries are quite full So we don't have to go anywhere or do anything when the snow arrives, which is supposed to be tomorrow. Meanwhile, today dawned bright and clear. Part of me thinks I should get out and do something, but I'm so tired that there's not a lot I could accomplish. Better to rest and recharge, I guess. It's been very stressful these past couple of weeks.
