Good Thing I Checked

Despite doctors from both medical groups saying that it can be done, when I asked the actual lab people from Renown Health Fernley about doing the labs ordered by my doctor in Sutter Health and sending them to his office, and showing them the list of labs that the Sutter Health system tells me they have ordered, they said that's not good enough. I have now contacted my Sutter Health doctor's office with the contact information for Renown Health Fernley Lab and asked them to sort out what has to be done before I make an appointment to get a blood draw. I'm glad I checked before the appointment I had for tomorrow morning, which I have since canceled until they figure it out.

Ironically, both Renown and Sutter are part of MyChart, and I can see both sets of information for myself, but neither group can see the stuff from the other one.
