Telling the Tooth

I went to the endodontist this afternoon, where they took a CT scan of my head. A short time later, the doctor came in and gave me the good news: the dark spot on the X-ray at the dentist is not an abscess, and I do not need a root canal. Now I still do have some temperature sensitivity on that tooth, but it's much less than it was a year ago, so I guess we will just keep watching it. For now, no dental work needed, and I was in and out of their office in just a few minutes after paying the portion of the service not covered by insurance or in my deductible.

A good part about getting in and out so quickly is that I was able to get out of Reno before the afternoon rush began, and I was back home shortly after 3 PM.
