kevin_standlee: (Menlo)
I've been losing weight fairly steadily for a while now. A long time ago, I ran out of holes on my belt. Lisa drilled more holes in the belt, multiple times. Today, I decided that enough was enough, as I'd run out of holes again. I went down to Big R and bought the same style of belt, size 42. The old belt was some six inches longer than that.

I took the belt home and swapped my Menlo Logistics belt buckle I received for five years of service. (I'm nearing 30 years now, and every five years I get some other sort of corporate swag; each piece has been a different company name or logo, although it's always been the same legal entity. The logo had long since fell off the buckle, but the buckle itself is heavy duty and has otherwise worn well. It has a design with ships, trucks, trains, and airplanes, as Menlo (now GXO Logistics) is a logistics management company.

The new belt is on the first hole, so there's room to tighten it if, as I hope, I keep losing weight. I stalled out at 235 lbs / 107 kg a couple of weeks ago, but at least I didn't start gaining weight again when I missed a dose of Ozempic.
