Wash and Brush Up

kevin_standleeLisa and I took advantage of our often-offset schedules to get the minivan ready for this weekend's trip to Tonopah. (Last weekend we didn't do a lot because we knew we would be doing a lot of driving over dirt roads.) During the cooler (relatively speaking) evening hours she cleaned, dusted, and vacuumed the inside of the van. This morning, it was my turn.
As I'm still on "Day Jobbe" hours getting up at 4:30 AM, after breakfast I took the van to the car wash and gave it a thorough outside cleaning.
Later today, we'll pick uplindadee at Reno airport and head for Tonopah for this weekend's Westercon 74 staff meeting. We are very much looking forward to seeing some of our friends again in person instead of on Zoom calls. And this will also give us an opportunity to field-test some of the tech we intend to use at Westercon 74 in the room and on the network where we expect to use it. If there are bugs, we'll still have most of a year to get them worked out.
