Last Quiet Weekend for a While

kevin_standleeThis is our last relatively quiet weekend before the Worldcon trip, so we aren't going out or doing anything. Besides, I don't have the Astro back yet (soon, according to when I talked to them on Thursday), and using the Rolling Stone as a runabout is too expensive. However, that doesn't mean I haven't been busy. I did the editing for the next episode of Railway Legends, Myths, and Stories this weekend, and we'll post it before we leave for Chicago.
Now we have to buckle down and decide what we're taking with us and how to pack it. As we're going by train, we have a lot more luggage allowance than by air, but carrying lots of stuff leads to other logistics challenges, like trying to get this much luggage into a taxi between the train station and the hotel. The cabbies get angry when you balk because their cars aren't big enough and you say you need a larger vehicle.
