Watch the Bear

I've been paying for YouTube Premium (no advertising interruptions) and YouTube seems to have read my mind sufficiently to point me at the video adventures of Himari & Bear. Himari's little bear is sufficiently close to our Kuma Bear that I had to show this to Lisa and Kuma. Most of the videos so far have simply been silly and fun, but a few of them have been very sentimental, especially the one where little Bear had to sit and wait for 300 years for Himari to be released from suspended animation. Himari's Bear does seem far more put-upon than Lisa'a Kuma.

If I thought the characters would be more well-known, I would suggest to Lisa that we try going in costume with her as Himari, Kuma as Himari's Bear, and me at the Big White Bear.

If you have Netflix, Kuma might also enjoy Rilakkuma and Kaoru (there are some clips on YouTube). There's a big and small bear in that too. It's a lovely stop-motion series.
