kevin_standleeIt was time for a haircut, although now that I'm mostly bald on top it's not that obvious to me until the hair around my ears starts getting increasingly unruly.
I took this picture this morning before walking down to my barber to see if she had any openings this week. She did have one for 2 PM today. I wish I'd worn my gloves. It was -5°C and my fingers were stiff by the time I got home.
By this afternoon the temperature was up to +7°C, which was not quite so chilling. Most of my hair is actually on the back of my head, and there's a lot less of it after this trim.
Alas, I will soon lose the barber I've been seeing since I moved here. She and her husband are planning to move to Phoenix next spring, so I will have to find another person to cut my hair. Unless someone takes over the small one-chair shop, it's unlikely that I'll have a barber so conveniently close (three blocks) to my house.
